New BrightonWallasey Waterfront Retail and Leisure Park

Following the successful completion and opening of New Brighton's Floral Pavilion Theatre and Convention centre on time and within budget – a demonstration of Neptune's expertise and commitment to New Brighton, phase 2 of this £45 million major waterfront development will be starting imminently.

The second phase will comprise three groups of buildings with associated landscaping and improved public realm as well as highways and public transport improvements.

The main mixed-use building will feature a number of leisure uses, including a 66-bed Travelodge Hotel, Light Digital Cinema – already signed up with a pioneering six-screen/1,000 seat entertainment complex, along with Morrison's Supermarket and a number of restaurants and bars, 50,000 sq.ft of leisure space will be available for handover early 2011.

The second building will border the western shore of the existing marine Lake and features single storey restaurants and bars with a two storey sailing School. A new purpose built pontoon will be created in front of the sailing School at the north west corner of the Marine Lake.

At the western end of the site will be a new public Lido, sitting behind the new Model Boating Lake. The area between the Lido and the main mixed use building will provide a landscaped car park of 750 spaces to cater for the visitors who are expected to help the development bring in additional spend of over £21 million per annum to New Brighton and Wirral.
